These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to astrocorp.in and our products and services including Astro Ratan and related offerings (the “Services”) operated by Astrocorp Techlab Private Limited (“Astrocorp”, “we”, “us”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. What the Services are — and are not
Astrocorp provides AI-assisted astrology and related informational products powered by proprietary computation. The Services are for personal insight, education, and decision support.
- They are not medical, legal, financial, investment, or psychological advice.
- They do not replace licensed professionals. For health, money, or legal matters, consult qualified advisors.
- Future products in wellness or finance will carry additional product-specific disclaimers.
Astrology involves interpretive systems. Outputs may be incomplete, probabilistic, or wrong for your situation. You remain responsible for your decisions.
3. Accounts & communications
You may access certain products via WhatsApp, web, or other channels. You agree to provide accurate birth and contact information and to keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account or number.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse, reverse engineer, or overload the Services or Astro Engine beyond permitted API terms.
- Scrape, resell, or republish outputs at scale without written permission.
- Use the Services for fraud, harassment, or unlawful purposes.
- Submit data you do not have the right to process (including third parties’ birth data without basis).
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or payment requirements.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. Subscriptions, trials & payments
Pricing, trial offers (including promotional entry prices), and feature limits are shown in-product or at checkout and may change. Taxes may apply. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in a product offer. Chargebacks for legitimate service use may result in account suspension.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, Astro Engine, software, branding, and site content are owned by Astrocorp or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for personal or internal business purposes as offered. Product outputs generated for you may be used for your personal purposes; bulk commercial reuse requires a separate agreement.
7. Enterprise / API access
Enterprise access to the Astro Engine is governed by a separate written agreement. Public marketing pages and sample request shapes are illustrative only and do not grant a licence.
8. Third-party services
The Services may depend on third parties (WhatsApp/Meta, payment gateways, cloud providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR DECISION.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASTROCORP AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) INR 5,000, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Astrocorp harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
12. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or discontinuation of a product. Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) will survive termination.
13. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may modify features, pricing, or these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
